Course Overview

The PADI Open Water Diver course is your first step into the underwater world. At Pearl Divers, we combine expert instruction with the stunning dive sites of Unawatuna and Trincomalee to give you a safe and unforgettable start.

Before your in-water training, you’ll complete the PADI eLearning modules online at your own pace, covering dive theory, safety, and equipment knowledge. Then, you’ll practice essential skills in confined water and complete open water dives in the Indian Ocean. From exploring coral reefs to swimming alongside tropical fish, each dive builds your confidence and ability. By the end, you’ll earn an internationally recognized certification allowing you to dive up to 18 meters anywhere in the world.
