About Pearl Divers Sri Lanka
Our Story
Founded in 1999, Pearl Divers has grown from a small local dive operation into one of Sri Lanka’s leading PADI 5 Star Dive Resorts. With more than two decades of experience, we’ve welcomed thousands of divers from around the world to discover the underwater beauty of our island.
Our mission has always been simple — to share the joy of scuba diving while protecting the ocean we love. From colourful reefs and historic wrecks to encounters with turtles, rays, and even whales, we believe diving is more than just an activity — it’s a way to connect with nature and with yourself.
Who We Are
Pearl Divers is a PADI 5 Star Dive Resort with two centres in Sri Lanka:
- Unawatuna (October–April) – calm seas, wrecks, and coral reefs along the south coast.
- Trincomalee (May–October) – crystal-clear waters, dramatic rock formations, and seasonal whale encounters on the east coast.
As a PADI 5 Star Dive Resort, we uphold the highest international standards for diver training, equipment, safety, and customer service. Whether you’re trying diving for the first time, joining fun dives, or advancing your certification, our centres are designed to make your experience safe, fun, and unforgettable.
